Greenfox Schools is a sustainability organization providing education solutions to help schools and school districts go green. Greenfox Schools believes that every school has five main functional points that can be optimized to benefit the environment, and taught to students to explain sustainability. The five points are called the Greenfox5, and include Energy, Waste, Food, Products, and Greenspace.

*Why? Native plants are accustomed to the regional climate, requiring less additional water than non-native species. Also, native landscapes create habitat for song birds whose populations are on the decline due to habitat loss.
